A cornerstone of the Q ecosystem are Q Root Nodes. They are crucial to enforcing general rules within Q. In less than a year, the Root Node panel has filled with a high-profile set of Root Node operators which includes best-in-class lawyers, academics, crypto and industry professionals from Asia, Europe, North America, Africa, and Oceania. Now, we are looking for committed people with entrepreneurial drive to build the next chapter of the Root Node panel. Our team works remotely across the globe, with strong ties to the Web3 communities in Germany and Portugal.

Your Mission

• As an Ecosystem Management Intern, you will take the lead in onboarding, assisting, and guiding Q Root Nodes in their governance roles. You will play a crucial role in communicating governance responsibilities and bridging the gap between abstract discussions and concrete technical implementations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Q Root Nodes, understand their needs and challenges, and support them on their way to enforce compliance with the Q Constitution.
• Create documentation and educational resources to deepen understanding of the governance roles and responsibilities of Root Nodes.
• Establish yourself as the go-to person for Q Root Nodes, ensuring consistent engagement across platforms like Twitter, Telegram, Discord, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
• Expand the Q ecosystem by onboarding Root Node candidates and streamlining their integration process.
• Spread the word about Q at various conferences, events, and webinars.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other participants in the Q ecosystem, ensuring that Root Nodes receive the support they need to preserve the integrity of Q.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in the blockchain industry to stay ahead of the curve.

Your Profile

• At your core, you possess strong organizational and time management skills, matched with excellent communication abilities. You are not just articulate; you are a keen listener.
• You have a profound interest in blockchain technology. Whether you are experienced with node operations, like setting up and maintaining a server instance to host a Q Root Node, or you are eager to dive deep into it, your passion is what matters.
• If you are already proficient with blockchain technology, git, docker, and Linux servers, that's a plus. However, if you are not, do not fret. We are ready to equip you with all the knowledge you need.
• You flourish both in independent scenarios and as part of a collaborative team.
• An ideal candidate for us is someone who believes that to be an outstanding ecosystem manager, they just need someone to give them a chance and teach them the job. We are here to provide that.
